About Sarah Gleason RD LD CEDRD

(Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian)

After graduating from Iowa State University in 1994 with a bachelors in dietetics,  Sarah has worked in a variety of settings helping clients find balance with eating patterns. Sarah helps clients learn to love food and meal time again.  While there are challenges with this, she believes getting to the root of the eating thoughts and/or behaviors will lead to sustained, balanced, intuitive eating.

Sarah has worked with clients struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating for 18 years. Over the past 8 years she has worked with clients in the outpatient setting.  When working in this setting, clients learn Sarah’s beliefs about moderation, variety and enjoyment of all foods.  When working with Sarah, you will learn about the physiology of the body, how food digests/metabolizes and how different foods impact your well-being.  You will also learn Sarah’s philosophy of timing your meals to prevent yourself from getting too hungry (or full).

Unbalanced eating many have been a part of your life for years, possibly decades.  You and Sarah will try and understand why your thoughts and behaviors about food have developed into your current eating pattern.  With 18 years of experience in nutrition therapy for eating disorder recovery she will help normalize food and help you find the balance you need.

Sarah Gleason is a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian in Missouri. With this credential you can trust that she is committed to ongoing learning regarding all facets of your recovery from unbalanced eating.
